Bridging the gap between Digital and Health
Our identity for the Digital Health Week event championed Transform Health’s mission to apply digital technology for better health. This global week-long event is packed with colorful stories about communities across sectors, technologies, nations and regions to celebrate the theme of ‘digital health’. This year, DHW is slated for 29th November to 3rd December, and it is planned to be a recurring event.
Where Digital technology meets Health
Our communications had to be designed to propel political action for Universal Health Coverage through digital transformation. We combined the ‘i’ of the digital to the ‘l’ of health to emphasize the coming together of digital technology and health to transform the health landscape. A condensed type font, Big Shoulders was selected to give emphasis to how technology enables the compression of time and space to accelerate universal health access.
Towards an equitable world
To easily demonstrate how digital technology could impact diverse groups of people across the globe, we created multiple colored lines. This vibrant visual representation shows the innumerable exponential possibilities of digital technology. These colours and patterns were also combined to make compelling vibrant motion graphics for the entire event. The fast-paced animation of the lines is symbolic of the rapid and flexible nature of digital technologies in delivering Universal Health Coverage to all.
Digital Health for Everyone
With a focus on an equitable landscape, DHW aims to deliver high speed and scalable data analytics resulting in more significant and broader impact. The colourful landscape created by the lines reflects the flexible and fast paced nature of digital technology. Digital Health refers to a wide spectrum of healthcare innovations, from mobile health (mHealth) apps, to artificial intelligence in healthcare,to expand the coverage and quality of healthcare. The visual language captures this aspect of inclusiveness, speed, diversity and possibilities towards a better future. The lines adapt to every medium, from static infographics, social media posts to motion graphics and website design for the event.
From Virtual to Real
The main focus of our communications design was to emphasize how technology could assist in human well-being and prosperity. Photography is used to bring in the realistic component of the brand, making it stand out from the tech landscape. The photographs covered a wide spectrum of healthcare innovations, from mobile health (mHealth) apps, digitization of patient records and personalized medicine, to artificial intelligence in healthcare, wearable gadgets and ingestible sensors. These images permeated through the consciousness of the audience, bringing out the human aspect of technology.
