Hello 2021

Dear Readers,

Wishing you all a New Year full of hope, wise choices, new visions and much success in everything you embark upon. Without doubt 2020 was not just eventful, it was a year of setbacks and hardship. Many of us faced deep personal losses and financial crises. Yet, even while challenged by unprecedented adversities, the human spirit conquered through faith, resilience and creativity.

Curiously, we have come to a fork, where our willingness to make a real change in our lives is being tested. With climate change, new virus strains and imminent threats that rock our complacency, our choices are no longer just about 'better' health and wellbeing, but for survival. Towards this end, we discover, as designers, that shifting our priorities and making small but meaningful changes in our lifestyles, are the real need of the hour. With the setting shift to COVID 19, we all switched over seamlessly to online networking, virtual meetings and social distancing. This remarkable transition, cutting down all travel time, and even shorter meeting times, only goes to prove that changing mindsets is all it takes to win for the human race.
