Dear Readers,
We wouldn’t be far behind tens of forwards you get on the enigmas of life, such as: Who would have believed if someone had told you 100 years ago that you could connect with anyone anytime anywhere across the planet, and see what they are doing that very instant? Would you have ever thought that you could buy a loaf of bread and a bunch of bananas on a small device you hold in your hand? Did we imagine that we would use cryptocurrency on a computer network to do transactions? In all, did we ever believe that all of the physical world around us, would reduce to more and more virtual means?
Well, you’d be surprised at the clairvoyance of the human mind, which has always explored the imaginary, the intangible, the unseen and the world beyond to suggest possibilities. Whether in early Greece or ancient India, philosophers made the connection between the intangible and tangible by the idea that thoughts shape action.
We have slowly and surely grown so comfortable with the virtual world that today, it seamlessly blends into our physical lives without causing discomfort. From 3D movies to augmented reality, we have moved into another dimension, and with Metaverse, we are creating virtual worlds. The word metaphysics literally means, ‘after physics’ suggesting the study of the world beyond reality. In this edition META MAY, we bring you the power of design to set apart your organization in my article Differentiate and Lead with Design. Celebrating World Design Day, our Principal Anthony Lopez writes on how a Design First policy can let you Build your business ‘by design’.
