Keeping Sify ahead.

Sify commissioned us to reinvigorate their identity and deliver a comprehensive brand identity program. They needed all sub-identities to speak in one voice as they repositioned themselves in the ever changing digital market.

Why did the internet corporation need a rebrand?

A pioneer in defining internet services, infrastructure, processes, and networking in India, Sify Corp set the trend for high standards. A decade after being in the market, Sify realized it needed a cohesive program across its business verticals, which had developed organically without systematic intervention. Especially, their offerings for ‘B to B’ and ‘B to C’ consumers had grown immensely and this had diluted the brand.

How did we give a technology company a friendly face?

In the brand's identity, we placed the dot ahead and this makes the identity playful and engaging for consumers in a light-hearted manner. We paired this with creative quizzes and storytelling to drive audience engagement and pique their curiosity.

The color palette of green and grey was a differentiator in the technology domain and brought a contemporary outlook. Sify’s bold move to adopt green as a brand color induced a sense of freshness in technology while the gray gave balance, infusing confidence. 

The 360-degree implementation strategy we devised launched Sify’s new interactive identity in the market. We positioned Sify’s identity and tagline ‘Keeping You Ahead’ to establish the company as a leading service provider that was customer-oriented.

An Iconic Identity

Our rebranding for India’s first dial up service was aimed at making the brand connect with a modern consumer and stand apart. We transitioned the brand from its previous identity of a flying kite to a modern, minimalistic, and uplifting square - keeping Sify ahead in the market.  

The Brand Manual provided guidelines for stationery and other online and offline collaterals. As a consumer-focused brand, we also designed a detailed iconography system to cover all customer touchpoints, from retail to print and web.
