Ernst & Young

SPACE BRANDING + ACTIVATION

Building a simulating working environment.

We designed and executed three offices of EY each with a different function and location. EY India Headquarters, Gurgaon, EY transit Office, New Delhi and EY Dadar Office, Mumbai

A merry mix with ‘something for everyone’ – that’s the best way, to sum up, the trio of environment design projects done for Ernst and Young. The office graphics are a reflection of the urban Indian mindset blended with popular Indian culture and global references.

What did the global professional services firm need?

We were approached by Ernst and Young to create stimulating office environments. We set about looking for what would reflect the urban Indian’s way of thinking. The content research was one of the most interesting and revelatory phases.

How did we add a human touch to the office spaces?

The Sports panel accommodated vernacular Scrabble and 70s Bollywood songs featuring Badminton along with Quidditch.

We made graphics relevant to the local context of the respective city. The panel from the Mumbai series had a type composed out of used tea leaves and discarded tea packaging.

We made connections between culture, history, and pursuing achievements by making statements specific to the Indian milieu and celebrating multi-layered perspectives.

A Stimulating Workspace

Throughout, we aimed to bring out the ethos of E&Y, instilling a spirit of inquiry and drive to excel. The following double panels are from a series featuring Indian Achievers, ranging from Amrita Shergill to Amartya Sen. The installations for this facility were driven by the theme of knowledge and the spirit of achievement.
