Creative Collective of India
CCI is a national collective of over 150 individuals from the creative industry, begun as a voluntary effort in 2020, to induce positive behavior change in communities. CCI’s mission was sparked by the pandemic and taken forward by public-spirited individuals who believed that communication could make a huge difference in lowering the spread of COVID-19. Creating authentic, contextual and respectful communication became the driver of this social movement.
As one size does not fit all, CCI's unique purpose evolved to be inclusive of individuals and communities across India. The Collective seeks to disseminate communication that resonates with people, is relatable and sensitive, adapting to the needs of different communities.
Mission
The Creative Collective of India aims to create a movement that will induce positive behaviour change in communities through communications that are authentic, honest and respectful.
Vision
To use crowd-sourcing and technology in a transparent manner, reaching out to communicators within communities to create relevant messaging that can inspire behavioural change.
Key Messages
The core team Identified 5 key messages for the creative community and created a toolkit with a detailed guideline of must-have and good to have information.

Ethos
Creative Certification Platform
The CCI platform was set up to accept submissions of creative solutions from creative individuals and organizations. This platform which was built by qualified communication and healthcare professionals offered a transparent process. We designed a centralized web system that put out clear directives to channelise and filter the entries ensuring correct representation and discouraging false information.
The submitted entries were filtered based on topic, language and regional diversity, post which the program randomly selects and sends out invites to 5-6 experts. After being reviewed by 3 experts the creative gets accepted or rejected. Lastly, a code is generated and embedded on the digital file, sending back a notification to the submitter.
