A dynamic platform for India’s young innovators.
Design Impact is an awards initiative recognized to celebrate social design and innovation in India by Titan Company. It awards design innovations and technological advances through grants. It also provides networking and learning opportunities for designers and innovators while up-scaling SDG based solutions for various sectors across India.
Rise of The Movement
We brought in a fresh perspective by putting Indian youth at the centre of the innovation through our strategic approach towards rebranding the initiative with a youthful punch.
In this context, we repositioned it as the Design Impact Movement. A bigger and more impactful initiative rather than a biennial award event. A dynamic Movement with a constantly evolving and immersive format adaptable to the changing landscape of technology and evolution.
The Design Impact Movement was defined as an umbrella initiative that supports innovation by facilitating a process-driven system from the initial problem definition to final prototyping.
The Design Impact Awards was redefined as a periodic event honouring exceptional innovations in social design through grants and scaling the products for a greater impact across sectors.
Addressing The Youth
The Movement accommodates, nurtures, and provides a platform with numerous learning and networking opportunities. We gave a bold, vibrant and youthful voice to an initiative that addresses SDG goals(sustainable developing goals).
Our new identity for Design Impact speaks to their core target audience - the Indian youth. We created a visual identity system inspired by young minds. The new identity highlights a design sensibility that is bold, agile, and energetic.
One Voice, Multiple Faces: An Adaptive Identity
The identity system for Design Impact is contemporary, versatile, and adaptive. It reflects the initiative’s bold persona across various online and offline applications. The visual system is inspired by cascading arrows that reflect continuous growth while the colour palette showcases youthful energy and positive stimuli for future innovations and technological evolution.
Evocative imagery from diverse backgrounds along with candid photography of young people sets a contemporary premise for the initiative's newly composed communication system.
The AR Filter Experience
We also created a customized AR filter for Design Impact allowing users to try on different glasses and play around with the visual identity to maximize the branded filter trend focused on the tech-driven Gen Z target audience.
A Punchy Immersive Platform
Designed to live in the digital space, the punchy brand identity runs across video clips and event launch films by Causate. The brand's slick and suave image was preserved throughout multiple applications and mediums from music selection to visual treatment.
Design Impact’s vibrant website shared the initiative’s language of constant growth and empowerment. The platform created unique experiences for users through Master Classes and Resources while engaging with its user through videos and other interactive stimuli.
