Godrej Meridien’s design is tailored to be a luxury property experience for its valued residents. Seven towers are built around a car-free private zone with the clear intent of providing an unhindered view of the vast green landscaping.

The design of the signage totem compliments the facade design of the towers, which angles out at the peak establishing a prominent architectural element. The solid surface is finished with a layer of aluminium to both emphasise and add depth to the detailing.

The architecture of Godrej Meridien has certain characteristic rhythms and form shifts, which we have identified and endeavored to capture in the signage system design. For example, the elegant detail of the chamfer was translated across both green and vehicular public spaces. The signage system communicates information about the property in a distinct and coherent manner. Further, signage and wayfinding elements have been strategically located across the property to ensure a seamless journey for both residents and visitors.

The term meridian refers to the imaginary circle that connects points across the earth of equal longitude, passing through the poles. This idea of connectivity is further fostered by an active program via a QR code we installed in vehicular pedestrian totems: on scanning, you will be oriented in the property, and you can obtain information on events and happenings in the neighbourhood, as well as get access to the directory for the flora and fauna of the region. All of this contributes to the residents’ cohesive experience of the property, and gives pride of place.

Signage in the green areas of the township are rendered in a different color and size to clearly demarcate pedestrian and vehicular pathways.

Property Identification Sign has been strategically placed on Godrej Meridien's tallest residential tower facing the approach road.

In order to create a unified visual language throughout the sign family, an icon set was created, each designed to match minimalist characteristics of Helvetica Neue.

The complete sign family comprises Directional, Identification, Information, Regulatory, Fire and Life Safety sign types with varied mounting typologies.
