Transform Health

BRAND STRATEGY + VISUAL SYSTEM + UI&UX

Digital Healthcare for Everyone

We revitalized Transform Health’s digital presence with a rich customized illustration style to represent diversity in a spirit of inclusion, delivering a high vibrancy to the brand. Transform Health is a global coalition of organizations, individuals, and institutions, which is on a rapid mission to accelerate its agenda to achieve Universal Health Coverage by 2030, by harnessing digital technology and data. At an international level, they work with many partners collaboratively to advocate for a global health data governance framework. This requires building consensus to bring people together to champion digital transformation at national, global, and individual levels while putting communities at the center.

Our starting point was the Transform logo’s ‘plus’ symbol and their rich colour palette, which led us to create a unique visual analogy of their spirit of collaboration to bring about change.

The custom characters we created represent people from all over the world — they are diverse, optimistic, empathetic, and empowered. The characters have rounded heads and geometric forms with interchangeable body parts. The illustration library is designed to address Transform Health’s recurring themes of digital health, telemedicine, health data, and more. The main characters are supported by objects like phones, laptops, stethoscopes, and data to provide context and supplement the messaging. Additional elements such as clouds, birds, sun, and drones help in creating narratives. In order to ensure ease of transition and consistency of branding across all applications, we designed an easy-to-use system on Canva for anyone to create compositions. Many of the assets were made as PNG, so users could just compose, add text and simply publish.
