Lopez Design was commissioned by Godrej Properties to create a comprehensive wayfinding and signage system for an upcoming project - Club Meridien. The signage range consists of signs for the entrance, directions, identification, regulations, and for Fire and Life Safety.

Landmark of Luxury

Strategically located near the Dwarka expressway in Delhi NCR, Club Meridien sets out to be one of the finest clubhouses of the region providing luxurious amenities and playing host to a variety of experiences that carry the hallmark of French hospitality.

Signage Design

Club Meridien’s ambience stands out characteristically with a rare minimalistic elegance, which further resonates in our signage. The PVDF coated aluminum cut letter signage is designed with sophisticated aesthetics that complements the exclusiveness of the Club.

In addition to the letter mount design, the signage concept was subsequently developed to a full signage family consisting of solid surface, metal and vinyl graphic signages, depending on the location and requirements of the space while maintaining its synergy.

Entrance Signage

The entrance signage CLUB MERIDIEN is in channel cut letters mounted on the wall behind a water feature. The back-lit sign glows at night adding to the warm and inviting experience of the Club.

Typography and Iconography

Throughout the project, we used the typeface Helvetica Neue, as it comes with a wide variety of features. The font offers a variety of widths and heights ensuring better readability and legibility, as well as enlarged spacing, revised punctuation, and numbers, making it compatible for navigation and signages. A fresh icon set was developed to reflect the minimalist characteristics of Helvetica Neue in order to establish a consistent visual language throughout the sign family.

Club Meridien not only offers a premium space but also nurtures the lifestyle and well-being of the residents. Keeping with its grandeur, our wayfinding and signage design adds another dynamic and elegant layer to the Club’s ethos. The signage system fits in perfectly with the existing space and harmoniously integrates with it.
